I ordered two of the Detroit hats., one for me and one for my brother. We were literally talking about how all the hats for the Lions are 👎 from other companies. I saw a post on instagram for these hats and was like wow my phone must be listening lol. From someone who has lived in Detroit and elsewhere throughout the state, I can promise you this is what we have been waiting for. The Detroit “D” on the hat is all I ever wear, but this hat goes above and beyond. Not only can we rep our city, we have two teams in one hat, with the city skyline!! The Tigers “D” is the staple for a hat in our city; this hat has not only has our most repped logo, it has the official Lions logo as well as our city skyline! On top of all of this the quality is immaculate, legit suede on the bill! This company needs to be at the top of the market. This hat is 200% better than you would expect. The frame does sit a little high, like a new era flat brim SnapBack. I have the utmost respect for this company. The only question I have is if we can make the front facing frame a little shorter with the curved brim?
All in all, this company produces amazing quality products. a5 sets the standard for quality.
The Detroit hat is sold out now I see (we have the best fanbase) but if you aren’t from Detroit, don’t question the authentic or quality of their product. You will receive better than you expected 🙏

3D Embroidery: "D" used by Dallas Morning News since 1885. Long before Detroit. ;)

Side Patch Artwork: A white, blue, and silver horse galloping in the forefront of a green basketball, reminiscent of vintage Dallas basketball colors.

Opposite Side Patch: “DALLA$" recreated and inspired by the 2011 Championship run alternate jerseys. Skyline featured above the text as a nod to the first official fan-designed jersey.

Back Embroidery: Alternate league inspired "A5" logo in modern team colors. 

CHRONICLE EDITION

Inspired by the rich history of Dallas, this hat pays homage to one of their vintage color palettes. Just like a newspaper, these hats capture team history, cultural references, and classic color combos that only a true fan or local could recognize. With the newspaper print industry quickly dying, this concept is an ode to the once coveted front page cover that headlined our favorite sports/athletes and the publishers that created them.

Influenced by current headwear trends and a fresh take on vintage hats, each piece in this collection is constructed of premium materials and buttery suede for that retro, faded vibe. The overall hat frame is a custom designed 5-panel, high-profile crown that aims to provide a clean and timeless silhouette.

One of the best to do it

As a person who has a hat obsession, I can tell you with certainty that this company is one of the best out there. Thoughtful design, flawless execution, it has easily become my favorite hat I own. Also as a Mavs fan, the merch has always left me wanting more, well A5 DELIVERED. I also love the hat sizing. I have a bigger head, and I hate having to put most snapbacks on the last two snaps. Having a larger size is so clutch. Thanks to A5 for their craftsmanship, and dedication to making a product that blows the rest out of the water.
